Why are our troops/military fighting in wastelands, why don't we send them to Mexico to actually protect us?

US Law Enforcement says the Drug Cartels are the most sophisticated organized crime syndicates in US History, they're also supporting gangs in major US Cities. Why are we wasting taxpayer dollars in Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan when we face the greatest threat on our southern border and not thousands of miles away? If Obama decided to send troops to Mexico, I would actually sign up for combat.Why are our troops/military fighting in wastelands, why don't we send them to Mexico to actually protect us?
Our government is on the side of the drug dealers, who sent assault rifles so they can kill US agents and anyone else they want.



With Obama's new amnesty rule, the illegals are jumping across the border with glee.
I dont think we could fight the crime cartels with conventional warfare, if we did fight the cartels actively, it would have to be covert ops, assasinations, sabotage, that kind of thingWhy are our troops/military fighting in wastelands, why don't we send them to Mexico to actually protect us?

Seriously they really need to protect the borders not fight foreign war for the sake of economy and good of the citizens.
We are a big country that can chew gum and walk at the same time.But to to do that you need Politicians that actually care about the American people.And have the will to show it.Why are our troops/military fighting in wastelands, why don't we send them to Mexico to actually protect us?
I thought protecting Mexico was a Mexican problem.
So that Al-Qaeda doesn't reestablish itself in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Because Mexico isn't a threat to Israel.
