They don't hide anything about how they run the games. To that extent, I would say lottery companies ARE fair.



The problem is the people who play the lotteries. MOST of these people don't understand that the companies take 50% off the top. At a 50% rake, this makes playing the lottery the WORST bet anyone could possibly make. Still, over 65 BILLION dollars (around 42 Billion British pounds) is spent each year on lottery tickets!!!
