Do you think the Call of Duty series should be rebooted?

Let's face it. No one pays attention to Call of Duty's campaign anymore. Except for maybe me and a few other gamers who actually like games with a campaign experience. Everyone else pays attention to the dull repetitive multiplayer.



The Campaign



Call of Duty's campaign has outright sucked since Modern Warfare 2. MW2 was the last good campaign a CoD game had. Black Ops's campaign was straight garbage. Treyarch failed, and I don't know why because World at War has the best campaign in my opinion. Both Battlefield 3 and Medal of Honor have a better campaign them Modern Warfare 3. MW3's campaign is rushed, it's sloppy, and it doesn't mess well with MW1 or MW2. All of Metal Team is killed off save for Frost, who's fate is never revealed. Soap and Yuri are killed off leaving only Price. What a garbage ending. Call of Duty needs the kind of reboot Medal of Honor got. Medal of honor has the best campaign to date.



The Multiplayer



Call of Duty's multiplayer is still 2nd to Battlefield's. With the exception of introducing Kill Confirmed and Team Defender. Not much has changed, and only Kill Confirmed is worth playing of the new game modes. The map layouts are favored towards snipers which just promotes camping and slows down the Run %26amp; Gun style of play CoD is known for. The only enjoyable maps are Seatown, Arkaden, Dome, Piazza, and Overwatch.



The Graphics



Call of Duty still has the worst graphics of any shooter to date. Battlefield 3 and Medal of Honor blow Call of Duty out of the water when it comes to graphics. The Havoc engine Call of Duty uses just can't compete with Battlefield and Medal of Honor's Frostbite engine. The graphics are superior, there are destructible environments, vehicles. It's great.



One thing that might aid Call of Duty is if Activision quit releasing CoD games every year and gave the developers time to come up with a decent story. The yearly release of a CoD game is almost as annoying as the yearly release of a Madden football game. Got it!Do you think the Call of Duty series should be rebooted?

I stopped playing CoD after Infinity Ward got gutted. I'll just wait and see what Respawn comes up with. From the sound of it, maybe you should too.
