It's really sad that people can be so petty. This man is a hero, his sacrifice is why that housing contract he signed wasn't written in German. This country makes me ashamed, sometimes. They need to just leave him alone, he's 90 years old. He won't be around much longer anyways.
Yo Deke666, you are not so cordially invited to go get stuffed. By and large, HOA's have an inflated opinion of themselves. Have you read the citation that went along with his MOA? They need to concentrate on things that need to be dealt with, not a flagpole. They also can go get stuffed! I you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a veteran. What do you think of Col. Van T. Barfoot not being allowed to fly the American Flag?
If he can't abide by the rules of his neighborhood, he needs to move, or face legal sanctions. Being a veteran and a hero doesn't make him above the law - even though he obviously thinks so.
HOA's can be a pain in the *** sometimes, but they're typically beneficial for property values. What do you think of Col. Van T. Barfoot not being allowed to fly the American Flag?
He should tell them to cram it with walnuts and fly his flag.
